Painel | de tão pouco, tanto

"Painel | de tão pouco, tanto" is a procedural and experimental project situated between expanded drawing, action art, and installation. The work is grounded in a principle of distillation, comprising canvases arranged on the floor in curved and modular formations, adaptable to different spatial contexts, including informal and transitory sites.
Across these surfaces unfolds a pictorial gesture that incorporates small objects collected during walks and dérives, reintegrated through an attentive, delicate, and meticulous labor.
The performance distances itself from spectacle, asserting itself through repetition, silence, and listening. It privileges connection, care, and sharing, establishing a suspended temporality and configuring itself as a shared body and territory, where what is dispersed is recomposed and being-together emerges as a collective potential.

Flávio Rodrigues is a multidisciplinary artist working across dance, performance, drawing, sound, sculpture, and object-making. Trained in contemporary dance at Balleteatro, he has developed experimental artistic projects since 2006 with a strong autobiographical dimension, exploring processes related to the body, materiality, and the collection of organic elements. His work has been presented in various national and international venues and festivals, and he has also collaborated with different creators as a performer, scenographer, musician, and costume designer. In 2024, he was an artist represented at the Cerveira Biennial.
