Echoes of the Void
Helder Seabra // Corpo+Cidade 2025
Mercado do Bolhão
A visceral exploration of the unseen forces that shape our experiences. Through dynamic movement and immersive soundscapes, the piece delves into the delicate balance between silence and motion, stillness and momentum. It examines how the individual body can dissolve into a larger landscape - orderly or chaotic - where the lines between self and others blur, and identity is reshaped. As bodies merge and shift, Echoes of the Void brings forward the primal forces that lie dormant within us, exploring the tension between control and chaos, ritual and instinct. In this journey, the weight of what is missing is felt, rituals are redefined, and resilience emerges in the space between. A meditation on transformation, Echoes of the Void invites reflection on the unseen threads that connect us to our inner worlds and to each other, where silence speaks, stillness moves, and echoes linger long after the final gesture.
