Vaivém - Encontro de teatro e dança junior (Shuttle - Junior theatre and dance meeting) is a programme based on the premise that school meets school, bringing together young ballet theatre students and students from other schools. In the context of travelling to other localities or to the Balleteatro, a meeting between students is proposed, based on the presentation of a theatre show, based on texts or adaptations of texts from the National Programme for Portuguese and/or the presentation of a dance show based on the revisiting of important authors/works of national and international contemporary dance.

Rui Spranger has been working in the cultural field for over 25 years, mainly in the areas of theatre, cinema, television and literature. He has a long career as an actor and director in companies in Porto, Viana do Castelo, Turin and Paris. In cinema and television in national and foreign productions.
He is one of the voices that has most disseminated poetry throughout the country.
His career also includes dramaturgy, editing, programming, training, production and theatre and poetry writing.
He works regularly with the companies Pé de Vento (Porto), Seiva Trupe (Porto), DyProcess (Paris) and Assemblea Teatro (Turin).
He founded Apuro - Associação Cultural e Filantrópica, where he is currently chairman of the board and artistic director. As part of this association, he also founded the theatre group ‘Do Lado de Fora’ with homeless and socially excluded people. He teaches acting and voice at Balleteatro - Escola Profissional. He is a poetry programmer at Espaço Miguel Torga (Sabrosa). He was the programme maker for FALADURA - International Festival of Spoken Words in 2022 and the 3rd Gaia International Forum in 2019. Since 2002 he has been responsible for the Poetry Nights at the Pinguim Café in Porto.

A sua poesia está espalhada por diversas antologias e revistas literárias portuguesas e galegas e na plaquete Montanha-Russa editada pela Texto Sentido. Em 2023 encenou e interpretou o espetáculo “A Casa”, escrito e interpretado em parceria com Álvaro Laborinho Lúcio, Luís Ricardo Duarte e Raquel Patriarca. O texto saiu na publicação “D’Escritas 1 Dia” do Festival Correntes D’escritas.
