WORKSHOP FOR BABIES

This meeting aims to explore the senses of babies in their relationship with the artistic space. Through voice and movement, a path is traced for the liberation, imagination and body and spatial awareness of babies and their companions.

Kátia Guedes was born on September 30, 1990 in Switzerland and has lived in Portugal since she was 7 years old. In 2009 she entered the Escola Superior Artística do Porto, graduating in Theater - Acting and Directing. In 2014 she completed her master's degree in Artistic Studies - Art Theory and Criticism at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto. Since then, she has worked as an actress and/or trainer for different theater companies, artistic associations and production companies: Etcetera Teatro (from 2014 to 2019) as an actress in "Os Maias", "Luís - O Poeta e o Homem", "Tio Fontaine", "O Gato Malhado e a Andorinha Sinhá", "Frei Luís de Sousa" among others; NAPALM as a producer (in 2019) then as an actress in "Aliceeee"; Porta 27 with the shows "O cavaleiro em terras de Oriana" and "Os piratas também se apaixonam" (both in 2020); Academia Pedro Sousa as an acting teacher in Musical Theater since 2021; Fever as an actress in "Amor e Redes Sociais" (from 2020 to 2022); and, recently, Seiva Trupe as an actress in the shows "Três Mulheres em Torno de um Piano", "Convocam-se os ventres das Mulheres de Portugal" and "Bairro Noite e Dia". She co-founded the "Teatro e Bebés" project in 2019, where she works as a director and actress in "O comboio das estações", "A reindeer of a thousand colors", "Arco-íris" and "Um mergulho no mar".
