In Cadência em Queda, the performers move between multiple and discontinuous spaces, through actions of tension and impasse, in which the distances and relationships between the bodies are transitory and confrontational. The body becomes a constant oscillation, between the rhythm that sustains it and the gravity that drags it down, in which each movement is composed through a cadence that, instead of being continuous, is broken, interrupted and reconfigured. Occupying spaces that seem simultaneously close and distant, the performers question the dynamics of connection and disconnection, producing tensions between the individual and the collective, in which rhythm is an escape, a fall and, at the same time, a resistance. A reflection on the discontinuity of spatial boundaries that equate the cadence of identity and the instability of borders, which delimit and redefine our perception of the world.
