Balleteatrinho Teatro

Balleteatrinho is a workshop where participants are invited to experience the movement and interpretation of a children's literary work. It is a workshop for raising awareness and introducing the world of dance, theater, cinema, circus, plastic arts and music, based on the stimulation of creativity and imagination. At the end of the session, family members are invited to watch the result of the workshop in a short piece presented by the participants. Concept: Isabel Barros
Rita Pinheiro
Born in the city of Porto, she started in the world of arts at Balleteatro in 2000. Since her debut, she has participated in numerous shows, including the performance Xarxa 25, by La Fura del Baus, at the Imaginarius festival and the play Os últimos dias da humanidade staged by Nuno Carinhas and Nuno M. Cardoso. In cinema, she participated in several projects. Since 2013, she has been part of several musical projects as a singer, being the Rita Light project the one to which she has been more dedicated. In 2018, she wrote and staged her first show together with another colleague, Dedos Curiosos, dedicated to children, with which she has circulated since then. In 2019, she debuted in script writing with her film 13H, which is in post-production and Ciclo, which will soon enter the production phase with the Porto production company Filmes da Mente. In 2021 she wrote, staged and performed the monologue Camaleoa. She divides her work as a teacher, artist and creator and is finishing her Masters in Performing Arts, Interpretation and Artistic Direction at ESMAE.
