Wide / Side

Following the artist’s previous work, which connected the body, interactivity, and digital art, João Martinho Moura presented a new work in 2015 in the form of an interactive installation: WIDE / SIDE. The piece represents the interconnected body, whose silhouette is captured by sensors, creating immersive experiences through fast beams of light projected onto a sculpted surface. The body is digitally represented within an abstract space that is generatively transformed over time. The interaction is synchronized with sound atmospheres that respond to the lines generated by the silhouettes and their movements.
