Labio

At the intersection of performance and media art, Né Barros and João Martinho Moura have developed work in which presence, memory, and the duplication of worlds are articulated through alternative narratives. Labio emerges in the wake of Una, Co:Lateral, Co:Lapse, and Nuve, works that resonate within the current project and continue to evolve through its core questions. In Labio, the notions of contact and estrangement run through the performance, exploring a body and its virtual counterpart. Labio is the result of an ongoing project and also the name of a permanent laboratory for creative exploration and interdisciplinary exchange.
